ProSelect on Leopard (Mac OSX 10.5)

Mirror Display Area with Sheet Windows problem (reported Feb 28,2008)

This problem has been fixed with the Mac OSX 10.5.3 update. Leopard users should install this update on their Mac using the Software Update command under the Apple Menu.

Here are the details of the problem....

It occurs if you have Mirror Display Area turned on in ProSelect and select any function that displays a Sheet window (one of the windows that slides down below another window's title bar) within a dialog box. At that point, any mouse clicks in the window are ignored and you can't do much of anything.  An common example of this, would be using the buttons at the bottom of the Place Order Dialog to Add Notes, Change an Order, Add payments or Order Adjustments, but there are many other places in ProSelect which work this way.

In most cases, you can recover control by closing the Window using the Escape key, however, there are a few windows in version 3.3.7 where this doesn't work and you would need to force-quit ProSelect to regain control.

So, your options are:

(a) Don't use Mirror Display mode, or
(b) Use a Mac running 10.4.x or upgrade to 10.5.3 or newer

Slideshow flicker

It was recently discovered that slideshow transitions exhibit a slight flicker under Leopard while they were perfectly smooth using earlier versions of Mac OSX. This is really only  noticable if you are using high-key images (eg white backgrounds) and have selected the fade to black transition.

We are looking into a way to solve this problem but in the meantime, if you are showing high-key images, we recommend that you choose the cross-disolve transition instead.
