How to create Gallery Wrap Canvases

The design and display of Gallery Wrap Canvases can easily be done as of ProSelect 2011r2 and newer.

You will find helpful information on using this feature on the Using Gallery Wrap Templates page under the "Layouts - Tools" section of the ProSelect Reference Manual (you can open this under the Help menu in ProSelect).

There is also a Webinar recording "Wall Galleries - Using & Creating To Increase Sales" (see at 30 minute mark) in the Webinar Recording Archives area (under the Training menu) and other older recordings such as "Designing & Using Gallery Wrap Canvases in ProSelect" under the "Templates, Layouts, Styles & Canvases" section).

Notes about Edge Options

Full Edge Wraps

If you wish you image to wrap around the edges of the canvas, when designing your template you should extend the opening to be the fully size of the template after adding the wrap size to the template. This way the image will warp around the edges.

When you show the canvas in Show Layouts view, only the face side will be shown.

If you switch to Cropping View you will then see the edges as well and can also adjust the position of the image by dragging it around in the opening.

Colored Edges

If you wish to add a colored wrap edge to the canvas, you can use a style for this...

Create a style with a key line with the same width as your wrap size.

Apply the Style to the Layout - you can use the same layout as in the previous case.

When you show the canvas in Show Layouts view, only the face side will be shown so you won't see any change.

If you switch to Cropping View you will then see the edges as well and can also adjust the position of the image by dragging it around in the opening.

Hi-Res Production Notes

In the second case, since you want the colored edge included in the output print, make sure that you have selected your Hi-Res Production preference to include all borders on the composite layout. Then just order the layout and run production.
