Webroot Security causes keystroke issues

A ProSelect software user has reported that the Webroot anti virus software which was pre-installed on their computer (running Mac OSX10.8) was preventing certain keystrokes. In regard to it's effect on the ProSelect software, it was preventing multiple image selection.

The user found out that this was a reported keyboard setting issue that is a known problem with that Webroot software….but the makers haven't fixed it yet.

Solution

In the meantime, we recommend uninstalling Webroot and using an alternative security/anti-virus software.
