On of our users reported this issue with running ProSelect and use the Lightroom plugin...
My anti-virus software was causing the problem. It kept running a scan when I tried to update to the latest version of ProSelect. After the scan I would attempt to continue the installation but would get an error message that the ProSelect application was open (when it wasn’t) and couldn’t be closed. I found the article about AVG anti-virus software causing problems, added the ProSelect upgrade and plugin .exe’s to the exclusions and, finally, success! I now have the latest version installed and get “The currently open ProSelect album is empty” message.
