A single user license allows you to install and activate ProSelect on up to two computers at one geographical location (including a mix of Mac and Windows computers) provided that you are only running one copy at any one time. If you need to run more than one copy at a time (or wish to activate on more than two computers), then you will need to purchase additional users for your license. (These are available at a discount through our secure online Store).

A two user license allows for three ProSelect software activations (using two at the same time), a three user license allows four activations (using three at the same time), and a four user license allows five activations (using four at the same time).

One geographical location means physically at or directly related to one business (studio) location. For example, a desktop computer at a studio and a laptop taken home but used for the same studio's business would be considered the same location. If you have more than one business location (studio), then you would need a separate license for each location. Each license may be for one or more users.

If you wish to run (and/or activate) 5 or more copies at one geographical location, then you can also purchase a Site License.

Additional users are the same price for either ProSelect and ProSelect Pro licenses.

Installing

When installing ProSelect on more than one computer, you should make sure that:

- the same registration key is entered into each computer
- the same ProSelect version is installed (this is important for data compatibility).

The registration key contains the number of additional Users you have on your license that you have purchased.

How do I activate and deactivate my ProSelect software? - A ProSelect 2011r1 license and newer allows you to install the software on additional computers. Checking Registration Details & Version

You can check the currently entered registration number/details and which ProSelect version you have installed by looking under About ProSelect (On Windows: Under the Help Menu or Mac OSX: Under the ProSelect Menu). The version number is also displayed on the "splash" screen which appears when you first run the software and in the top left corner of the Registration Dialog 

Checking Activations

You can at any time log in and go to your "My Membership Home" page (link at top right of the ProStudio Software web site), in the Registered Products section you will see a "View currently activated machines" link. Clicking on this link will show you the names of the two computer that you currently have activated.

Need an Extra User on your License?

You can purchase extra Users for your license any time at a discount price through the ProStudio Software web site and a new registration key will be sent to you. Then use the "Update Registration.." in ProSelect (under the Help menu) and enter your new key details using your preferred method.

Hint:
You only need to purchase the High-res Production option once regardless of the number of users on your ProSelect license - it will be enabled on all ProSelect installed computers.
