Using different Room Views in ProSelect

ProSelect 2011r2 and newer includes a new Working with Rooms module that allows you to design and show a Wall Gallery by adding any mix of images and layouts to a Room View background.

These designs are saved with your ProSelect album so you can set them up ahead of time or review them later.

In ProSelect (standard) you can create and save one Working with Rooms "design" per album. With ProSelect Pro you can create and save an unlimited number of designs.

Other options

In both ProSelect and ProSelect Pro you can also do the following:

  • Temporarily show one image at actual size on a Room view background. To do this in Working with Images, right-click (or control-click on Mac) the Select Size view tool in the right-hand tool bar. You can then select one of your installed rooms from the popup menu. With a room displayed this way you can also use the next/previous buttons (or keyboard arrow keys) to show the next/previous image on the same room background. Also the up/down arrow keys can be used to change the size of the displayed image. Clicking one of the other View Mode buttons (including the Select Size button again) will remove the room from the background.

  • Temporarily show one layout at actual size on a Room view background. This works the same as with images but instead you are Working with Layouts.

  • If you are Working with Rooms and have a Room design setup, you can use the Select Room Background tool in the right-hand tool bar to replace the current room background with a new one. This allows you to view your wall gallery "design" in different rooms.
