Adding and changing order of items in a Slideshow

Adding and changing the order of items when in Working with Slideshows (include adding an image more than once in different locations) is fairly easy to do. Here are a couple of ways to do this:

(a) Drag images (and/or layouts or rooms) into a slideshow from the image list in Thumbnail View, then just drag to re-arrange as required. The order of images in Working with Slideshows is independent of the order in Working with Images, except when you add them as an album "Set". (See "Using Working with Slideshows" in the ProSelect Reference Manual for more about these).

Hint: If you wish to add the same image (and/or layouts or rooms) in a couple of locations in the Slideshow, simply repeat and dropping the item into the required location(s).

(b) Drag and drop an "album set" (e.g. Set 1 Maybe tab) into the Slideshow, then use "Convert Selected Slideshow Sets to Slides" command (under the Slideshow menu) to "explode" the set into individual items in either their current order, name order or randomly. Then further drag them around if required.

Other Information

We also recommend watching the "Sell It With Slideshows" or similar Webinar available in the "Designing, Playing & Exporting Slideshows" section on the Webinar Recording Archives area (under the Training menu on the ProStudio Software website).

If you simply wish to sort the images in the album file, use the "Sort Album Images by" commands (under the Album menu). See "Sorting Images & Tags" (for automatic sorting on initial import, through to manual sorting) in the ProSelect Reference Manual (quick access under the Help menu in ProSelect).
